Sammie Jay Sales Sr. was born on October 26, 1944, to the late Moses Sales and Flossie Williams. He was born and raised in Madison, Florida, he later moved to Aspen, Georgia.
Where he attained his education at the Aspen School District of Aspen, Georgia.
In 1963, Sammie moved to Pompano Beach, Florida where he met the love of his life Hattie Mae Clark. They later married and that union brought them four children and thirteen stepchildren.
Sammie enjoyed fishing and operating heavy equipment and spending time with family.
He’s not going back he’s moved ahead. He was here to declare to us; his past is over. All things were made new on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Broward Health North Sammie Jay Sales,

Three stepchildren proceeded him in death: Jessie Scott Sr., Mary Wilson, and Rosemary McCall. Four siblings proceeded him in death; Hazel McKnight, Johnny Jackson, Edgar Sales,
and Earl Long. Left to cherish his legacy and forever grateful for the memories; Sammie Sales Jr. (Fredricka), Samuel Sales (Renae) of Fort Lauderdale, Greg Sales (Danielle) of Jacksonville,
Angela Sales Marcano (Edwin) of Fort Lauderdale, Larry McCall (Elissa) of Wilton Manors, Ivory McCall (Brenda), Patricia McCall, Willie C. McCall of Pompano Beach, Jackie McCall
(Sallie) of Deerfield Beach, Teddy McCall Sr. (Kim) of Oakland Park, Darryl McCall (Diana) of Fort Lauderdale, Michael McCall (Lisa) of Arkansas, Randolph McCall, Patrick McCall (Mary) of
Pompano Beach. Two sisters Agnes Sales (Herman) of Jacksonville and Geneva Jackson Mack (Willy) of Deerfield Beach. A host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Along
with a very special friend Doris Davis.
